Woodbridge climbs from the Deben quayside in steps: the Thoroughfare runs flat along the bottom, then New Street and Church Street pull up towards Market Hill, and the lanes between them are narrow enough that the van often waits on the hill while the piano walks the last bit. The Victorian villas off Burkitt Road and the newer streets towards Melton are far more conventional.
That fixed Tuesday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Woodbridge, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Tuesday suits you when you book.
Melton and Orford are both IP12 and both covered on Woodbridge's Tuesday run at the same price.
Centre deliveries are a parking-and-walk plan more than a muscle problem, we know the lanes and will agree the route with you beforehand. Cottage doorways around the quay end can be low, worth a line in the notes. Melton and the newer estates deliver at the plain price. Orford, down its own peninsula road, is a proper expedition by Suffolk standards and we make it on the same Tuesday all the same.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
