Your delivery day
Stroud is five valleys of weavers' terraces stitched to the hillsides, and it is the steepest work on our Saturday run. Houses up Rodborough, Whiteshill and the Uplands side are often reached by paths and steps rather than a kerbside stop, and the van sometimes parks a street below the front door. The valley floors, Ebley, Cainscross, the newer estates, stay level and straightforward.
That fixed Saturday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Stroud, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Saturday suits you when you book.
Rodborough, Cainscross, Ebley, Nailsworth, Painswick and Minchinhampton are GL5 and GL6, same Saturday run, same price as Stroud.
Be generous with detail in the notes here: how far from parking to door, how many steps, which direction the path climbs. We price stairs per floor inside the house, not for the hillside outside it, so an honest picture just means the right crew and enough time. Terraced fronts can be narrow, the slim trolley lives on the van. Nailsworth and Painswick bring the same hills with their own postcards.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
