Solihull is five postcode districts and we do all of them on the same Monday: B90 Shirley, B91 the town centre, B92 Olton and Elmdon, B93 Knowle and Dorridge, and B94 out towards Hockley Heath and Earlswood. One day, one price, whichever of them you are in.
That fixed Monday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Solihull, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Monday suits you when you book.
Shirley, Knowle, Dorridge, Olton, Bentley Heath, Dickens Heath, Hockley Heath, Monkspath and Blossomfield are all the same Monday and the same price as Solihull town centre.
Most of Solihull is inter-war and post-war semis and detached houses with a through lounge, which is close to ideal for an upright: level access, a wide enough hall, and a long wall to stand it against away from the radiator. Knowle and Dorridge have more of the older cottages with tighter doorways, and Dickens Heath is the outlier, being largely modern apartments where you will often be on the first or second floor. That is fine, it is just £99 a floor, and if the lift is 1.2m deep it is nothing at all.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
