Reigate tucks under the North Downs with the castle mound in the middle of it and the A217 running through a tunnel underneath, which remains a good piece of trivia and an occasional parking fact. The housing is Georgian and Victorian near the centre, grand Edwardian up the Reigate Hill slopes, and broad thirties streets through Woodhatch and South Park where most deliveries land.
That fixed Wednesday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Reigate, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Wednesday suits you when you book.
Woodhatch, South Park and Leigh are all RH2 and all arrive on the same Wednesday at the same price as Reigate.
The hill roads north of the centre bring front steps and sloping paths, count them for the notes. Woodhatch and South Park are level and simple, plain price nearly every time. Centre properties above shops do exist and need the stair conversation. If you are in one of the Priory Park fringe houses with rear garden access, mention it, the back route is sometimes the kind one.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
