Leamington is a Regency town split by the river. North of it, around Clarendon Square and the Lillington Road, the villas and terraces are tall, porticoed and frequently converted into flats, which brings our stair charge into play. South of the river the old town is Victorian artisan streets, Brunswick and the roads off Tachbrook Road, pavement-fronted terraces that take an upright the way they always have.
That fixed Monday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Leamington Spa, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Monday suits you when you book.
Lillington, Milverton, Whitnash, Sydenham, Cubbington and Radford Semele are CV31 and CV32, one Monday run, one price.
North-side conversions: floor number and lift depth decide the price, ask us anything before you book. The porticos add a few front steps, count them. South-side terraces are routine with a parking note, permit zones cover much of the old town. Whitnash and Sydenham are post-war and modern streets where the plain price is the near-certain outcome, and Lillington's semis are just as easy.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
