Castle Street in Farnham is one of the finest Georgian streets in the south, wide, gently sloped and lined with fronts that look formidable and mostly behave well, Georgian builders liked a decent hallway. Around it the town is layered: cottage rows in Upper and Lower Hale, solid Victorian off West Street, the leafy Bourne to the south, and post-war estates at Heath End and Weybourne.
That fixed Wednesday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Farnham, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Wednesday suits you when you book.
Hale, Badshot Lea and Heath End are GU9, Frensham, Churt and Tongham are GU10, and every one of them shares Farnham's Wednesday run and price.
Georgian centre deliveries usually hinge on one detail, the step or two up from the pavement, so count yours. Hale's cottages are smaller and occasionally need the door-off-hinges trick, four minutes, no drama. The Bourne's houses hide down private drives where surface matters, deep gravel is worth a mention. Heath End and the newer streets are plain-price routine, and GU10's villages follow the cottage rules.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
