Esher deliveries are mostly a drive, a level walk and a wide door, because the housing runs from substantial Edwardian villas to even more substantial modern rebuilds, and nobody builds a narrow hallway into a house like that. Claygate adds Edwardian cottage streets with a village feel, and Hinchley Wood is textbook thirties Metroland, semis with straight stairs and sensible proportions.
That fixed Wednesday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Esher, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Wednesday suits you when you book.
Claygate, Hinchley Wood and Weston Green are all KT10, delivered on the same Wednesday at the same price as Esher.
The plain delivery price is the standard outcome across KT10. What changes it is the house above the ground floor: the flats along Portsmouth Road and in the centre bring the lift-depth question, and Claygate's cottages occasionally have the tight-hall moment, one line in the notes covers it. Long gravel drives are the only other thing we like to know about, for the trolley's sake.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
