Chinnor sits right under the Chiltern escarpment, and most of it was built in a few decades of the twentieth century when the cement works was running. That makes it a town of practical family houses on level streets, with the older village core around the church a small fraction of the whole. For a piano crew it is one of the simplest stops on the Saturday run.
That fixed Saturday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Chinnor, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Saturday suits you when you book.
Sydenham, Kingston Blount and Crowell are all OX39 and all delivered on the same Saturday at the same price as Chinnor.
Expect the plain delivery price almost everywhere: level fronts, workable doors, drives or easy on-street parking. The older cottages near Church Road deserve a line in the notes if the doorway is low or the hall turns hard. Kingston Blount and Sydenham are villages of mixed ages where the same one-sentence description of your front door saves everyone time on the day.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
