Cheltenham is Regency terraces on the flat, which is the kindest possible combination of elegant and deliverable. Montpellier, Lansdown and Pittville bring porticos, a few steps and the occasional flat conversion, but none of Bath's gradients. St Paul's and Fairview are tight Victorian artisan terraces, Leckhampton and Up Hatherley are broad thirties streets, and Bishop's Cleeve to the north is modern estate growth at full scale.
That fixed Saturday is the whole reason this costs £10 a week rather than £30. We are not making a special trip to Cheltenham, we are already there, so you get the van at route cost instead of one-off cost. Pick whichever Saturday suits you when you book.
Montpellier, Pittville, Leckhampton, Charlton Kings, Prestbury and Bishop's Cleeve span GL50 to GL53, all one Saturday run, one price.
Regency addresses: count the portico steps and tell us the floor if it is a conversion, the lift rule applies. St Paul's terraces open straight onto the pavement with narrow halls, we bring the slim trolley and it goes fine. Everywhere south and west of the centre is mostly plain-price. Prestbury and Charlton Kings mix cottages with family houses and deliver easily with the usual one-line description.
Stairs are £99 per floor, and that covers carrying it up now and back down at the end. A lift only removes the charge if it is about 1.2 metres deep, because the piano travels standing on its end.
